In June 2026 I set the female Guinness/WUCA World Record for the fastest time around the NC500 in Scotland. It rained a lot. Yet those 32 hours 22 mins were some of the best of my sporting career (so far!). Why? You can read, listen or watch more about that here.
I am a World Record holder, endurance athlete, sports and life coach, adventurer, engineer, speaker and co-founder of charity Peak Education Nepal.
Born with an appetite for change, challenge and variety has meant my life has had many different parts. From British Army officer to Geotechnical Design consultant and Professional Triathlete. I am always adapting and seeking out new projects.
When people ask me what "I do" I find that very difficult to answer. Every day is different. My life is a constant whirlwind of new projects, training and racing, charity work, making films, speaking with my coachees, and travelling all over the world with my husband Mark. Life is to be lived - it is short and mysterious and none of us can know what is around the corner.

I coach athletes of all levels online with the TrainXhale coaching platform. I coach triathletes, trail runners, ultrarunners, cyclists and also those who just want to get the most out of the exercise time they have available or need help working towards a specific goal.
I have over 20 years experience coaching all types of athletes and professionals. I am a high performance coach, and learnt much of what I teach through leadership training and experience in the military as well as on high performance coaching courses I have done since. I strongly believe that to get the most out of life you need to find balance. High performance in sport or business can only be achieved within the structure of a balanced life which prioritises health.
I am co-founder (with husband Mark) of Peak Education Nepal, a charity registered with the Scottish Charity Register, OSCR. Peak Education Nepal funds school places and provides essential educational resources to children and schools in need in Nepal.
To read more about the charity, how it came about (that is an interesting story in itself involving an endurance event, a helicopter, and a hospital!), what our current projects are, and how you can get involved please visit the charity's website.
